Sherwood House is situated two miles due east of Chichester city centre with good access from both East & West via the A27. Set in a very rural area between the South Downs and the coast, this modern house offers an excellent standard of living and comfort, as well as access to a concealed patio and gardens.

Local Area
We are very well situated for Goodwood motor events. The motor circuit is a 20 minute walk through the countryside (about 1½ miles). We’re also a good base for Chichester Theatre, Arundel, The South Downs, Chichester Harbour, Witterings beach, and further a field the Portsmouth ferry to France.

Prices
Prices start from £30 per person per night for a twin room with the exclusive use of a bathroom. Bookings fill very early during local events, please call to check availability.

We wish to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Your choice of full English or continental breakfast is included in the price. We will cater for any special requests or dietary requirements; please let us know before your arrival.
Weather permitting; breakfast can be served outside in our patio area.

Directions
From West (Portsmouth, Southampton, etc…):
Follow the A27 to Chichester. Keep following the A27 over the next four roundabouts. Turn right at the traffic lights (only lights on the by-pass), signed for Oving. Take the 1st right turn onto the B2144 (after ½ mile). Sherwood house is 300 yards on the right-hand side.

From East (Arundel, Worthing, Brighton):
Follow the A27 towards Chichester. Keep following the A27 over the first roundabout. Turn left at the traffic lights (only lights on the by-pass), signed for Oving. Take the 1st right turn onto the B2144 (after ½ mile). Sherwood house is 300 yards on the right-hand side.

From South (Bognor):
Take the A259 towards Chichester. After 3 miles turn right onto the B2144 at the first roundabout you come to. Follow the road over the level crossing. Sherwood house is 400 yards on the left-hand side.
From North (Guildford, London):
Take the A3 to Portsmouth, and then follow directions “From West”
